Whole Doughnuts

Whole Doughnuts

“I got fired again,” sighed White.

“Didn’t you just get that job?” asked Black.

“Yeah,” sighed White. “Working at the ring doughnut factory.”

“What happened?” asked Black.

“Eh,” replied White, “I got fed up of the hole business…”

Doughnut! That’s how you spell it! Dough-nut! Shed off the corporate shills of Dunkin’ Donuts and be free to put more than one U into a word!

Disclaimer: I have never eaten a Dunkin’ Donut but with my massive sweet tooth, I would prolly like them.

(Insert related content and take that anti-pro Dunkin’ Donut (with an ugh) somewhere.)

Hey, if you’d like me to try a Dunkin’ Donut, you can buy my one of my books so I can put the earnings from my books into a doughnut eating fund!

    1. Awww, thank you Cecilia! Every new book I publish (every couple of months) I put out free to followers for the first 5 days of release, so keep an eye out for a free digital copy next month. 🙂

    1. Aww I’m sorry Twinkle! I’m not sure what else I can do now. Seems to be a lot of issues with JetPack on this website. It’s like whack a mole. Every time I fix something, something else is wrong. 🙁

  1. Loved the original series of Twin Peaks when FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper, played by Kyle MacLachlan, would sit down at the diner and order a “strong, black” cup of coffee — “black as midnight on a moonless night.” Plus an order of donuts and another slice of pie. The donuts needed to be, if i remember rightly, plain, not necessarily fresh …

    1. Yes! God that’s a good memory you have there! 🙂

I never saw the film and I haven’t seen any of the new series yet. Must get onto that!

  2. As my dear friend the Unabomber ? with his hipster hoodie and DB Cooper shades ? would say:

“That’s how they WANT you to spell doh-knut.”

Stick out your long pink yazzik and try the DD butternut with an iced coffee ☕️ my malankey little droogie.

    Peace be the Botendaddy

  3. chuckle, chuckle, grin, grin. cute! great! love the accents in the video; they make a huge impact on me and my boring Texas drawl…

your work reminds me of “the far side.” that’s a good thing. wish your books were in print. would gift them to my brother! or even my grandson if the jokes are all as clean as this one…

thanks so much for stopping by #formidableWoman today.

    ciao!

    1. Thank you 🙂 Aha, I believe there are paperback editions of all books on Amazon.com

Hey, don’t knock a Texan drawl! Americans enthusiasm leads to the best accents!

        1. Sure, thanks for the interest. 🙂

January and Spiders are both humors, Capricorn is horror. Again, give it a few weeks and the next book will be out with a free digital edition to subscribers. Would be handy if you want to see what you’re getting before you buy. 🙂

          1. Just bought Spiders softcover for my brother’s BD and downloaded the kindle unltd. version for myself. Read a few of the pages using “look inside.” I know I’m going to love it and so will my brother! You’ve already given me several good chuckles this morning! Thanks! I’ll put a review on Amazon as well, eventually. 🙂

  4. I’ve been following your adventures in writing ever since you liked my blog article, Fears. Every day I’m here, looking for something I passed over or just new. Thanks, Fears!!!
